Shoe shopping

A day out in Christchurch and doing some shoe shopping for the boys, looks like work.

Camper Van

Friends called round with their new camper van it is really nice no heavy traffic needed and big enough to holiday in with all the mod cons.

Full Moon

Full moon tonight so tried again for a pic in the end took the scope and the tiny moon in the back ground as well.

Golf

A tough day at the course was good to see how well good golfers can concentrate we were lucky with the weather. Finished 5th equal so happy.

Tournament

Night sky

Am quite pleased with the wee Canon point & shoot with this pic of the moon, will have to try again when it is a full moon.Put the camera up to the telescope to get the shot.

Shower time

Had to give Pete (VC Valentine) another picture he looks so pleased with himself. A sip of water as good as a beer .

VC

Look at this VC Valentine is in the line up he got 3rd and payed $15.90 for a place  at Ashburton today. Onward and up ward Wow.

Reunion

Peters school reunion in the weekend good catching up with all the old school mates.

Sunrise

Hey this is impressive this is a sun rise got up early to run a horse and what a great sunrise was gone 10mins later.

Irrigation

Peter's irrigation has got out a bit nearly made the lounge so the lawn is under water no more irrigation needed.

Sun up

Lambs are all sitting on the boarders still snoozing in the early morning sun

Tom

The vet is checking out Toms throat after he has had asoft pallet operation. All looks well so back to work for him.

VC

Trials today and Pete has let himself down the old devil went away like a rocket then broke later . Will have to wait and see for the next run.

Boarders

Putting the boarders back up ready to sew the paddock. Some old equipment being used here.

Strawberrys

Waimate Strawberry's are in full production their second crop for the season. Yum. Notice the odd fellow on the top of the pile.

Pears

The pear tree is getting ready to pick but the birds are keen as well , hopefully have fixed them, well for the moment anyway.

Balage

The horses have been up to no good got to the balage so a bit of tape was needed to seal things up again.

Feet Day

The foals had a day of handling and feet trimmed this is Spice with Mum and is behaving well. Weather is cold and wet so a good day for it.

Temp

The rain has arrived and the temp is falling nearly a night for the electric blanket.

Tommy

Tommy has come to stay a night he is my nephews, Daniel and Moniques wee fellow not sure what he is to me???? 42nd something or other.But a wee cutie.

March Hare

Bikes every where on the way home from the march hare rally in Waimate . Kept my eyes open but no sign of Jacqui, Sue or Sally. Mind you they are on pedal power.

Snack

Even a big sandwich and a wee beer at half way didn't help the cause, but never lost the grin.

Pleasant Point

Lots of smiles but the golf wasn't good in fact plain bad, fun trying and the weather was good.

Night Light

As a kid was always fascinated by the fridge at night, sneaking in and checking what was there, Have just had a sneak peak and nothing I fancy. Dam think I'll go to bed.

Uka

Cards are on the table tonight a nice change Pete and I won wow.

Cliff

What a show he was just fantastic he looked no older than 30 and the shadows had not lost anything either. Needed the big screen as we were right at the back up stairs a fun night.

Crew

Hay

Weathers fine and no rain so nice hay for the shed.
